**UPDATE**
Sunday June 5th, 11:57pm
The active search for Lewis O. Tilton 3rd has been suspended.  At this time Tilton has not been located.  It is unknown if Tilton is still in this area or if he fled out of the area.  This search was commenced by the Berlin Township Police Department for an incident that occurred in their jurisdiction. 

Tilton is a white male, 5-06, last seen wearing a dark green hooded sweat shirt, dark colored back pack, possibly carrying a firearm.

The wooded area between Evesham, Voorhees and Berlin has been searched extensively by police officers, police trained bloodhounds, special weapons teams and the New Jersey State Police helicopter.  This search did not locate Tilton. 

The Voorhees Police Department will continue the increased patrols in the Sturbridge  Neighborhoods, Signal Hill Elementary School and throughout the surrounding areas.  These patrols will continue throughout the night and continue through daybreak. 

We have no information that indicates Tilton is a threat to anyone in Voorhees Township.  If you see him please call 911 immediately.



Sunday June 5th, 2022 at 4:30pm 
Police activity in the area of Cooper Road and Commerce Lane in Berlin Twp. Possible armed subject in the area. Subject is a white male, 5'6", 130 pounds. Short brown hair on sides longer on top. Red / brown full beard, wearing dark green hoodie. If seen, do not approach and call 911. There are increased Police patrols in the area.
