Motorists are advised that the Milford-Short intersection will be temporarily closed to traffic beginning Monday, June 6 for the start of a sidewalk improvement project in the area. Additional updates will be provided on the project as they become available. 

Community members are also advised that the utility company Metronet is scheduled to close the south westbound lane of E. Lake Lansing Road, from Coolidge Road to Marfitt Road, on Monday, June 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Additionally, community members are reminded that Harrison Road, between Saginaw Street and Grand River Avenue, will be closed to through traffic starting June 6 to accommodate sewer work as a part of the ongoing East Glencairn Neighborhood Improvement Project. The closure will remain in place for approximately three weeks and detours will be in place.
