Homicide detectives are continuing to assist the Baldwin Park Police Department with their investigation surrounding the shooting deaths of a female Hispanic adult and a male juvenile.
The incident occurred Sunday, June 5, 2022 at approximately 9:22 PM.
Detectives have learned Baldwin Park Police officers responded to the 4200 block of Merced Ave. regarding multiple calls received of gun shots heard in the area.
Upon their arrival they located the victims in the rear yard of the location suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
The female Hispanic was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male juvenile was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Detectives believe this is a domestic related incident, and the suspect fled the scene.
