OWI 4th Offense Arrest
On June 6, 2022 at about 9:00 a.m. Janesville police officers were sent to the Stop N Go gas station at 1604 E. Racine St for a welfare check. A female inside the business was displaying odd behavior and was possibly under the influence. When officers arrived they contacted the female, Angela Collas, and found her behavior was not medically related but was a result of being impaired. Video showed she was driving erratically in the street and parking lot of the gas station before going inside. A Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) was on scene and conducted the field sobriety testing. Collas displayed signs of impairment from substances other than alcohol. Department of Transportation records showed she had three prior OWI convictions. Collas submitted to an evidentiary sample of her blood and the results are pending. She is being held at the Rock County Jail.
