The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Garvin County in southern Oklahoma... Southwestern Pontotoc County in east central Oklahoma... Northeastern Murray County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 845 AM CDT.

* At 817 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Stratford to 3 miles east of Wynnewood to 3 miles northeast of Katie, moving southeast at 45 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR NEAR AND TO THE EAST OF WYNNEWOOD. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include... Pauls Valley, Sulphur, Davis, Wynnewood, Roff, Fitzhugh, Hickory, Scullin and Lake Of The Arbuckles.
