On June, 7, 2022, at approximately 7:30 am, Law Enforcement Officers from the Lakeport Police Department, assisted by Probation Officers from the Lake County Probation Department, served a Lake County Superior Court Search Warrant at the residence at 1201 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport. Included in the warrant were the house and property, a vehicle, and two adult male subjects. Officers located numerous items of evidence in support of their on-going investigation of the pair’s involvement in the passing of counterfeit US currency at county businesses.
In addition to the search, Alejandro Javier Lopez and Kayden Daniel Collins, both residents, were arrested on outstanding Arrest Warrants charging both with the same violations of passing counterfeit US currency.
