Three Suspects Arrested for Drugs and Weapons Charges in Big River



DATE/TIME: Monday, June 6, 2022, at approximately 6:08 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 30305(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of Prohibited Ammunition
                     HS 11364(a) - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

LOCATION: 5000 block of Rio Vista Drive, Big River, CA

SUSPECT(S): Michael Rivera, 37-years-old, Resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ. 
                        Rodolpho Talamante, 30-years-old, Resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ.
                        Denise Capaccione, 58-years-old, Resident of Big River, CA. 

VICTIM(S): State of California


SUMMARY: On Monday, June 6, 2022, at approximately 6:08 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department contacted Michael Rivera, Rodolpho Talamante and Denise Capaccione, during a call for service.

During contact with Rivera and Talamante, deputies located ammunition and drug paraphernalia. Through investigation,  Rivera and Talamante were found to be convicted felons and are prohibited from being in possession of guns and ammunition.  During contact with Capaccione, deputies also located additional drug paraphernalia.

Rivera and Talamante were arrested for PC 30305(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of Prohibited Ammunition and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking.  They both remain in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $35,000 each, awaiting a court hearing.

Denise Capaccione was arrested for HS 11364(a)- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Capaccione was issued a citation and released at the scene with a future court date.
