YOUR BLOCK MAY BE WITHOUT WATER SERVICE FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EMERGENCY WORK.
The City will provide updates should additional areas be affected and relating to this emergency work. Once installation work is completed, the water main will be flushed to remove any iron/rust deposits and entrapped air. Residents may experience some discoloration and air in their plumbing system. It is recommended that residents flush their internal plumbing systems by allowing the water to run for a few minutes until clear.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY
WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION
This notice is to inform you that your water services may be temporarily interrupted commencing on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, between the hours of 9:00am and 5pm relating to water main and valve improvements in your area, as well as roadways in the vicinity will be partially affected to vehicular traffic. The affected areas will include:
- 4800 block of Homerlee Avenue and vicinity
- 148th Street, from Northcote to Wegg and vicinity
