Traffic Enforcement Details:
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details during the week of June 12th Through June 18th, 2022:

 
West Side:
Mapleton Road- Speeding and Truck Enforcement
 
East Side:
Route 130 (Speeding and red-light violations)
 
These traffic enforcement details will be conducted in addition to our Department's routine traffic enforcement efforts. 


Tour De South Brunswick:
Sunday 06/12 beginning at 8am until 12 noon, there will be multiple bicycling events that will traverse the township beginning and ending at the South Brunswick High School.  Please be aware of cyclists and maintain a 4 foot safety gap when possible.  Officers will be monitoring the event and assisting with traffic flow as needed. 
 
One of the rides will be going through the Wexford development and is geared mainly for kids, therefore please use extreme caution while traveling through the area.


Roadwork Scheduled:
PSE&G will be installing new gas lines along Friendship Road, between Culver Road and Route 130, beginning Monday 6/13/2022. The project will run through the middle of July. The hours of operation will be 7 am to 3:30 pm, please plan an alternate route or expect delays.
