* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Kanawha County in central West Virginia... Southern Roane County in central West Virginia... Southwestern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Southeastern Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... Northern Clay County in north central West Virginia... North Central Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 400 AM EDT.

* At 1054 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing along Route 36. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sutton, Clay, Clendenin, Gassaway, Big Otter, Wallback, Amma, Harrison, Ivydale, Nebo, Chloe, Servia, Tariff, Procious, Left Hand, Strange Creek, Wilsie, Frametown, Walton and Little Birch.
