CONTROLLED BURN TODAY IN PACOLET VALLEY 
There will be a controlled burn taking place this morning in the 3000 block of US Hwy 176 in Pacolet Valley. Tryon Fire Dept. will be on scene assisting. This burn will create a significant amount of smoke, but there is no danger to the surrounding area.
