Former Crestline Resident Arrested for Home Burglaries

INCIDENT: Residential Burglary, Unauthorized Entry of a Dwelling
LOCATION: 24100 block of Bernard Drive, Crestline
SUSPECT(S): Jason Allen Waters, 40-year-old Resident of Pinon Hills
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at approximately 9:27 p.m., deputies from the Twin Peaks Station investigated a burglary at the corner of Cresta Drive and Bernard Drive in Crestline. During the investigation, deputies determined former Crestline resident, Jason Waters, entered two homes on Bernard Drive and stole personal identifying documents from one of the homes.
Waters was located in the area and arrested for P.C. 459: Residential Burglary and P.C. 602.5(a): Illegal Entry into a Residential Dwelling. Waters was booked into the West Valley Detention Centerand is being held on $25,000 bail.
It is believed Waters may have burglarized additional residences in the area.
