Deputies Arrest Trevor Sanders for Sexual Acts with Minors; It Is Believed There May Be Additional Victims

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 7, 2022 / 11:38 a.m. 

INCIDENT: PC 647.6(A) (Annoy/Molest a victim under 18), PC 272(a)(1) (Contribution to the delinquency of a minor), PC 288(a) (Lewd acts with a child under fourteen), PC 287(c)(1) (Oral copulation with a person under fourteen) and PC 261(a)(3) (Rape of drugged victim)

LOCATION: Lake Arrowhead and Crestline 

SUSPECT(S): Trevor Sanders, 22-year-old resident of Crestline 

VICTIM(S): 17-year-old Female
                   13-year-old Female 


SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, deputies from the Twin Peaks Station conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 27000 block of Rainbow Drive, in Lake Arrowhead. Trevor Sanders was contacted with a seventeen-year-old female victim and three other juveniles. One of the juveniles was found to have been reported as a runaway. The investigation determined Sanders was involved in an inappropriate relationship with the seventeen-year-old female victim and had provided her with marijuana. 

Sanders was arrested for violating PC 647.6(A) (Annoy/Molest a victim under 18) and PC 272(a)(1) (Contribution to the delinquency of a minor) and booked at Central Detention Center. 

Further investigation revealed Sanders also had sexual relations with a thirteen-year-old victim and had provided her with marijuana. Sanders was booked on additional charges of PC 647.6(A) (Annoy/Molest a victim under 18), PC 272(a)(1) (Contribution to the delinquency of a minor), PC 288(a) (Lewd acts with a child under fourteen), PC 287(c)(1) (Oral copulation with a person under fourteen), and PC 261(a)(3) (Rape of drugged victim). 

A photograph of Sanders is being released, as it is believed there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
