Deputies Locate Carjacked Vehicle When A Citizen Sees Suspects Using Spray Paint to Change it's Color

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 2:41p.m.

INCIDENT: CARJACKING

LOCATION: Deep Creek Road/ Artistic Alley, Apple Valley

SUSPECT: Ronald Million, 26-year-old, resident of Apple Valley
                   Jonathan Million, 34-year-old, resident of Apple Valley


SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 2:41pm, deputies responded to a 911 call near Deep Creek Road and Artistic Alley, in the county are of Apple Valley. According to the caller, he gave a ride to two subjects who later carjacked him and took his wallet. The victim sustained cuts to his forehead, hands, and arms when the suspects pushed him to the ground. 

Deputies responded and could not locate the suspects or the victim’s 2017 Hyundai Elantra in the area. The victim was able to provide deputies with descriptions of the suspects. 

On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., deputies received a call regarding subjects painting a silver car with black spray paint behind a residence in the 10200 block of Deep Creek Road, in Apple Valley. Deputies from the Victor Valley Station, with the assistance of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Aviation Division (40K), made PA announcements for the occupants to exit the residence. Ronald Million came out of the residence and was arrested without incident. Jonathan Million was found in a motorhome on the property and was arrested without incident. The vehicle was confirmed to be the 2017 Hyundai Elantra stolen on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Ronald and Jonathan Million were booked at High Desert Detention Center for carjacking. They are being held in lieu of $250,000.00 bail each.
