1:13 AM: Officer Kapu responded to an alarm call in the 36000 block of Cedar Blvd. He arrived on scene and found the front door shattered.
2:45 AM: Officer Kapu investigated a report of a stolen vehicle in the 5000 block of Sussex Place.
7:35 AM: Officer Sanchez and Officer Taylor investigated an overnight vandalism in the block of 36000 Ash Street. Investigation is ongoing.

9:04 AM: Officer Rivas investigated a commercial burglary in the 36000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was hair clippers and drapes.
6:24 PM: Officers investigated multiple burglaries to vehicles in the area of Newark Blvd and Jarvis Ave.

3:32 PM: Officer Soto investigated a theft of two catalytic converters that occurred overnight in the 7000 block of Morton Ave.
7:36 PM: Officer Riddles responded to the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave for an attempted auto burglary. No loss at the time.

3:34 AM: While performing a security check in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd, Officers located a shattered glass door that appeared to be burglarized.
5:47 AM: Officer Losier investigated a burglary in the 39000 block of Cedar Boulevard.
6:40 AM: Officer Soto investigated a burglary in the 39000 block of Cedar Boulevard. Loss was approximately $40.
9:57 PM: Officer Garcia conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cedar Blvd and Robertson Ave. The vehicle failed to yield and continued northbound on Cedar Blvd at a high rate of speed. The vehicle subsequently collided into a parked vehicle and a tree. The subject fled on foot. A short foot pursuit was initiated. Officer Garcia quickly arrested the subject, a 15-year old male juvenile without further incident. The subject was released to a guardian with a notice to appear. The vehicle was towed.

8:19 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a battery that occurred in the 6500 block of Thornton Ave involving two subjects. Officer Rivera made contact and arrested a 31-year old male out of Newark for battery. He was cited and released.
8:34 AM: Officer Sanchez and Officer Taylor responded to a disturbance in the 36000 block of Ruschin. Officers accepted a citizen’s arrest of a 42-year old male out of Newark for felony vandalism. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:44 AM: Officers Frentescu investigated two auto burglaries in the block of 6000 Newpark Mall Rd.
10:37 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 31- male out of San Francisco for outstanding warrants. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:07 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 36000 block of Dalewood Dr.
3:00 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary in the 6800 block of Overlake Place.
3:37 PM: Officer Frentescu investigated a theft in the 6100 block of Newpark Mall Road. Investigation is ongoing.
3:44 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated an overnight attempted auto burglary in the 7500 block of Birkdale Drive.
2315 Hours: Officers made contact and arrested a 39-year old male in the area of Balentine Dr and Stevenson Blvd for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

3:43 AM: Officer Swadener responded to an alarm activation in the 35000 block of Newark Boulevard. Upon arrival, Officer Swadener discovered the front door shattered and that had been burglarized. Incident is still under investigation.
10:50 AM Officer Hernandez investigated a theft of a catalytic converter in the 6000 block of Peppertree Court.
10:38 AM: Officer Sanchez investigated a report of theft by deception. Loss was $5,300. Investigation is ongoing.
10:42 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated a burglary in the 2000 block of NewPark Mall Road. Investigation is still ongoing
11:58 AM: Officer Taylor investigated a burglary in the 37000 block of Sycamore Street. Incident is still under investigation.
2:09 PM: Officer Hernandez investigated a report of theft by deception. Loss was a large sum of cash. Investigation is ongoing.

4:11 PM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving 10 subjects in area of Cherry St and Fountaine Ave. Subjects fled prior to officer arrival. Officer Loser located one of the associated vehicles nearby and a records check revealed the vehicle was reported stolen. Officers conducted a high-risk car stop and arrested a 16-year old male juvenile for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was issued a notice to appear and released to a guardian.

1:17 PM: Officers investigated a report of a suspicious package in the 7000 block of Gateway. ACSO Bomb Team responded to assist and determined the package was an inert electronic device and not an explosive.

5:32 PM: Officers responded to an in-progress catalytic converter theft in the 5800 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Upon arrival, Officers contacted and arrested a 50-year old male out of Hayward for prohibited person in possession of ammunition. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

Officer Garcia located the responsible vehicle a few blocks away and attempted a traffic enforcement stop. The vehicle immediately fled and was last seen traveling Northbound on Newark Boulevard. Incident is still under investigation.

5:19 PM: Officer Adami and Officer Johnson initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cedar Blvd and San Antonio Way. Officer Adami made contact and arrested a 21-year-old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant and driving with a license suspended for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:32 PM: Officer Rivas investigated multiple burglaries to vehicles in the central part of town.

Officer Garcia made contact and arrested a 19-year old female out of San Jose for DUI. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
4:45 AM: Office Herrera responded to a report of a battery in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. Officer Herrera accepted a Citizen’s Arrest of a 35-year old male for battery. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:21 PM: Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a vehicle that had just occurred in the 34000 block of Newark Blvd. Officers located the subject, a 41-year old female, nearby and arrested her for grand theft. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:24 PM: Officer Herrera responded to a report of a disturbance in the 36000 block of La Salle Dr. Officer Herrera made contact with a 40-year old male out of Newark and arrested him for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:22 PM: Officer Garcia made contact and arrested a 61-year old male out of Newark for being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

6:43 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 32-year old male out of San Francisco in the 6000 block of Mowry Ave for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of multiple controlled substances. He was cited and released.
7:16 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 35000 Rosewood Drive.
9:26 AM: Officer Sanchez responded to a report of a battery in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Officer Sanchez made contact and arrested a 41-year old male for battery and criminal threats. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:20 AM: An Officer attempted a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Lido Blvd and Jarvis Ave. The vehicle failed to yield and fled. No pursuit was initiated. Officers contacted the registered owner, who was shocked to find their vehicle missing. The vehicle was then entered as a stolen vehicle.
5:17 AM: Officer Herrera responded to an alarm activation in 35000 block of Newark Boulevard. Upon arrival, Officer Herrera discovered the front door shattered and had been burglarized.
8:56 AM: Officer Arroyo investigated an overnight burglary in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Road. Loss was cash register. Investigation is still ongoing.
9:25 AM: Officer Arroyo investigated an overnight burglary in the 5000 block of Mowry Avenue. Loss was a cash register and cash.
10:14 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a theft of tools in the 35000 block of Cleremont Drive.
11:22 AM: Officer Jackman investigated an overnight attempt theft of a vehicle in the 35000 block of Bettencourt Street.
1:20 PM: Officer Sanchez and Officer Taylor investigated several burglaries in the 6000 block of Clark Avenue. Loss was purses and personal items.
