The Hawthorne Police Department Traffic Bureau:
Reminder to please park properly within the Borough of Hawthorne while visiting Saint. Anthony's Feast. Traffic & Pedestrian safety is compromised when vehicles improperly park on the roadways.DO NOT PARK:
- Within 25 feet of an intersection or cross walk.
- Within 50 feet of a STOP sign.
- Within 10 feet of a fire hydrant.
- Within 50 feet of a railroad crossing.
- Do not park, facing against the traffic flow.
- Do not park on a sidewalk.
- 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station / 75 feet to any driveway entrance opposite side of said fire station entrance.
- Do not park a motor vehicle over 24 hours on Borough of Hawthorne roadways. If vehicles are left parked for over 48 hours, The Police Department is authorized to remove said vehicle from the roadway.
