Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Marion County Until 1015 PM, 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Chase County in east central Kansas...
  Northeastern Butler County in south central Kansas...
  Southeastern Marion County in central Kansas...
  Northern Greenwood County in southeastern Kansas...
* Until 1015 PM CDT.
* At 913 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 miles southwest of Olpe to 12 miles south of
  Cottonwood Falls to 5 miles east of Florence, moving south at 50
  mph.
  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
  SOURCE...Radar indicated.
  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
  El Dorado, Eureka, Marion, Cottonwood Falls, Madison, Strong City,
  Florence, Hamilton, Burns, Cassoday, Bazaar, Elmdale, Matfield
  Green, Cedar Point, Eureka City Lake, El Dorado State Park, Thrall,
  Eureka Airport, Wonsevu and Tallgrass Prairie.
This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 72 and 115.

Instructions:

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
If on or near El Dorado Lake, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
