Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...East Central Plains, Northeast Plains and Highlands. A Red Flag warning remains in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM MDT today and Monday from noon to 8 PM MDT. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph today. Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph Monday. Southwest to west 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph Tuesday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 10 percent today, Monday and Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS ... NORTHEAST PLAINS ... EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
