Traffic Alert! West Saddle River Road will be closed in both directions at Dater lane until further notice. Recent heavy rains have undermined the road causing a significant collapse under the steel plates. Bergen County has responded to barricade the roadway and prepare for reconstruction. This project will take many months and the road will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Due to the hazards, large fencing will be established for safety reasons to prevent anyone from walking into the work zone. Plan alternate routes.
