* At 524 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lewisburg to Ross, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include... Dayton, Hamilton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Fairfield, Huber Heights, Mason, Trotwood, Miamisburg, Lebanon, Springboro, Vandalia, Sharonville, Englewood, Monroe, Loveland, Trenton, Franklin and Springdale. This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 17 and 40. I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 20 and 36. I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 18 and 65.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
