* Until 1115 PM EDT.

* At 1000 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Birch River to 8 miles northeast of Oceana, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Lewisburg... Hinton... White Sulphur Springs... Narrows... Ronceverte... Rainelle... and Alderson. This includes The following Location The West Virginia State Fairgrounds.

Prepare immediately for damaging winds. For your safety, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows. This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION.
