6/14/22 9:45 AM: The Fish Fire is at 100% containment, 55.2 acres total acres burned. Fire personnel will continue to monitor the area for the next 12 hours.

6/13/22 11 AM:  All forward progress has stopped. LA County Fire has constructed a line around the fire except where it cliffs out. Heavy Equipment is being utilized. We are at 75% containment.

Current estimates are 35 acres burned. Fire crews will continue to mop up throughout the day and possibly into the night.

8:50 PM: Encanto Drive now open to through traffic. Encanto Park will be open regular hours tomorrow.

Mel Canyon Road and Brookridge Road will remain closed until 10 PM.

Fire crews will remain working through the night and into the morning on clean up in the riverbed.

8:20 PM: The Fish Fire at 20% containment at the main fire and the riverbed is at 100% containment. Mel Canyon area and streets around Encanto Park will remain closed until 10 PM.

7:20 PM: Fire personnel are making good progress on the main fire which is holding at 25-30 acres burned. Resources (personnel, trucks, aircraft) will be on scene all night and tomorrow.

LA County Fire Department is using Encanto Park for helicopters. Please continue to avoid the area if possible.

Fire in riverbed was contained about 6-6:10 PM.

6:50 PM: LA County Fire Department has officially named the brush fire Fish Fire. The fire was located at two points, in Fish Canyon/Riverbed and Opal Canyon. The fire is out in the riverbed area. Fire Fire is still active on the north side, away from Duarte homes.

6:10 PM: Fish Canyon/Riverbed fire is out. Clean up currently in progress.

Opal Canyon fire is still active on the north side, away from Duarte homes.

5:31 PM : Two fires - the Fish Canyon/Riverbed and Opal Canyon fires are currently happening.

Fish Canyon/Riverbed fire - Five acres have burned, forward progress stopped. 

Opal Canyon 20-25 acres acres burned and moving away from structures. Robust aircraft on scene and enroute. Wind pushing fire uphill and away from structures.

No evacuations from Duarte at this time. Azusa stables have been evacuated.
