DETAILS: Patrol Units responded to a three car crash on Old Trenton Rd. A Ford sedan was found to have struck the rear of Honda sedan with so much force that it was pushed into the rear of a Nissan driven by Thomas J. Gibb II. Gibb had been stopped in traffic when his vehicle was struck, and while he was not at fault for the crash, he was determined to be DWI. Gibb was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

Upon their arrival, Brian Rudden, had already left the store and was sitting on a bench in front of Target, still in possession of merchandise that was stolen from the market. Rudden was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released.

Arrested: Dorrell P. Howard
Resident of Lawrence, NJ 08648
DETAILS: While on patrol, Ptl. Fiore was alerted by the Automated License Plate Reader system in his patrol car that a Toyota SUV registered to a wanted fugitive had just passed him. He turned around, caught up to the SUV, and observed that the driver fit the description of the wanted person, Dorrell Howard. He initiated a stop on the SUV, confirmed the identity of the driver as Howard, and took him into custody. Howard was a “Wanted Person” out of Lawrence, and also had a warrant for his arrest from South Brunswick. Howard was processed at WWPD Headquarters and turned over to the Lawrence Police Department.

DETAILS: Patrol Units were detailed to a burglary at a residence on South Post Rd. The victim left her residence at 8:15 AM and returned approximately two and half hours later to find that someone had smashed a kitchen window to gain entry inside her home. Once inside, unknown actor(s) stole jewelry and other items.

DETAILS: While the victim was shopping inside the Trader Joe’s market, unknown actor(s) smashed out his rear passenger side window. Entry was made into the car, and a brand new iPad and case just purchased from the Apple Store in Quakerbridge Mall were stolen from the back seating area.

DETAILS: Ptl. Fattibene was detailed to the AtHome store for an employee’s car that had been stolen. Investigation found that around 10:30 PM, the victim walked out to the parking lot and discovered her car, a 2000 Honda Civic, had been stolen. A white pickup truck was involved in the theft, and was parked next to the Honda for almost a half an hour before both vehicles were driven away together.

DETAILS: Ptl. Connell was detailed to TJ Maxx for the theft of a wallet. The victim had placed her purse in her shopping cart while she was shopping. When she went to the registers, she realized her purse was gone. She then spoke with a manager who showed her a purse that had just been found. It was in fact the victims, however, her wallet and all of its contents including her credit cards had been stolen.
