LOCATION: 7600 Block of Begonia Road, Phelan
SUSPECT: Reginald Tennyson, 44 years-old, resident of Crestline
William Hart, 52 years-old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 10:41 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a 911 call in the 7600 block of Begonia Road in Phelan.
According to the caller, two men were seen at a residence loading a maroon Ford F-150 on to a tow truck. The caller was familiar with the residence and did not believe the men belonged on the property. They were able to provide descriptions of both men and the vehicles.
Deputy J. VanBrimmer and Sergeant M. Rios saw the flatbed tow truck on Palmdale Road with the Ford F-150. Contact was made with the driver, Reginald Tennyson, and the passenger, William Hart. Deputies confirmed with the homeowner the vehicle was taken off her property without her permission. Through further investigation, deputies learned the suspects had also entered the victim’s residence. Stolen property from inside the residence was located in the bed of the truck. During a search of the tow truck, methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia and $12,000.00 cash was located.
Reginald Tennyson and William Hart were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Tennyson is currently being held in lieu of $75,000.00 bail. William Hart has been released on bail and due to appear in court on August 1, 2022.
