Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety is hosting a Fireworks Turn-in Event this Saturday, June 18th, from 10 am to 1 pm at the future downtown site, 6400 State Farm Drive. The event is an opportunity for residents to surrender any fireworks they may have left over from previous years with no questions asked.

For the event, please secure your fireworks in your trunk and remain in your vehicle. Public Safety Staff will provide direction and collect the fireworks from your vehicle.

Illegal fireworks include any device which has a fuse and when lit begins to spark, make noise, spin; explode on the ground and/or in the air. The use of party poppers, confetti cannons, and pop-it-type celebratory devices which do not require ignition is permitted. We are asking not to turn in any weapons, flares, ammunition, etc. at this event. Should you have items to surrender or are unable to attend the fireworks turn-in event, please call us at 707-584-2600.

On the 4th of July, Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Officers will be patrolling neighborhoods and following up on firework reports. El Departamento de Seguridad Pública de Rohnert Park está organizando un evento de entrega de fuegos artificiales este Sábado, 18 de Junio, de 10 de la mañana hasta la 1 de la tarde en el futuro sitio del centro, 6400 State Farm Drive. El evento es una oportunidad para que los residentes entreguen los fuegos artificiales que les hayan quedado de años anteriores sin hacer preguntas.

Para el evento, asegure sus fuegos artificiales en su maletero y permanezca en su vehículo. El personal de seguridad pública le dará instrucciones y recogerá los fuegos artificiales de su vehículo.

Los fuegos artificiales ilegales incluyen cualquier dispositivo que tenga un fusible y cuando se encienda comience a chispear, hacer ruido, girar; explotar en el suelo y/o en el aire. Se permite el uso de petardos, cañones de confeti y dispositivos de celebración tipo pop-it que no requieren encendido. Pedimos no entregar armas, bengalas, municiones, etc. en este evento. El 4 de Julio, los oficiales del Departamento de Seguridad Pública de Rohnert Park patrullarán los vecindarios y darán seguimiento a los informes de fuegos artificiales.
