The fire in Fairfax is under control and contained to approximately 2 acres. Smoke may continue to linger in the area for a short while.
Cancelled: Several Marin County Fire Departments are currently battling a wild land fire in the area of Sky Oaks Road in Fairfax. Currently, there is no threat to the Central Marin jurisdiction, however, a sizable amount of smoke may be visible. Please do not call 9-1-1 unless you see flames.
Central Marin Police and Central Marin Fire are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
