Update on Stevens tennis court and swimming pool access
 
As a reminder, Hoboken residents who would like to sign-up to utilize the tennis courts and swimming pool at Stevens Institute of Technology must first register at www.hobokennj.gov/stevensregistration, and provide contact information, government identification or utility bill indicating a Hoboken address, and proof of full vaccination and at least one booster dose. Stevens requires all on-campus students, as well as full-time and part-time employees, to be fully vaccinated and at least one booster dose. The registration form will then be processed by the City with an approval email from the City required before beginning the Stevens registration process. Residents must then register with Stevens at https://stevens.dserec.com/online/membership, send a headshot to [email protected], and submit payment for the membership selected via the Payment Portal. An email will then be sent when the Stevens ID is available to be picked up at Stevens Card Services. Please note that it can take up to three business days for Stevens to process a resident’s registration after completion of Stevens registration and headshot submission. 
  
After receiving the approval email, the ID card can be picked up at Stevens Card Services in the Howe Center, Room 120, Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. View a campus map at https://www.stevens.edu/visit.   
  
Residents can purchase year-round pool access through daily, weekly, or monthly memberships by following the same registration process. The pool fee is $20 for one day, $35 for two weeks, or $55 monthly. Senior citizens get a discounted rate of $15 per day, $25 for two weeks, or $35 monthly.  
 
Family Swim and Parent & Child rates are now available. Parent & Child rates are $20 for one day, $40 for two weeks, and $70 monthly. Family Swim rates are $30 for one day, $65 for two weeks, or $105 monthly.   
 
If you are signing up for Family Swim or Parent & Child Swim only, please email [email protected] to create a Stevens ID. In the email, please state the membership you are interested in purchasing: Family Swim or Parent and Child Swim, and include a headshot, name, address, and phone number. Everyone in the family that is over 18 needs an ID to access the facility. Once you receive a confirmation email, you can pick up your ID at Stevens Card Services and proceed to the pool to register and pay for Family or Parent & Child membership. The parents must sign a waiver in person on behalf of their children. This can be done weekdays from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. ONLY. 
 
If you already have a Stevens ID, you can register and pay for a Family Swim or Parent & Child membership at the pool on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
 
Once registered, those who want to use the pool facility will have to reserve a 1-hour time slot at least 30 minutes before arriving. To reserve a time, go to https://stevensrec.com/sports/2019/2/7/aquatics-schedule.aspx.  
 
Please note, Stevens pool will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 17, in recognition of Juneteenth. The pool will be open on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed for repairs from June 20 through June 24. The pool is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, June 25.
 
Those who have already paid for a two-week or monthly membership can register for an additional week free of charge through Stevens’ online portal.  
 
Hoboken High School pool access will be announced in the coming weeks.
