PRESS RELEASE – Update to Request for Public Assistance to Locate Person of Interest
PRESS RELEASE - UPDATE - 6/16/22
On June 15, 2022, at approximately 1:09 a.m., a City of Santa Clara Police Department officer observed a suspicious vehicle driving slowly through the parking lot of a closed business on the 2900 block of Bunker Hill Lane. The vehicle had two occupants.
Upon making contact with the male driver of the vehicle, the officer recognized him as the person of interest in the felony vandalism incident at the PAL BMX track. A records check revealed he had two warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to Santa Clara County Jail, and booked on the outstanding warrants. The vandalism case remains under investigation.

PRESS RELEASE – Public Assistance Needed to Locate Person of Interest
The Santa Clara Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest (pictured).
The individual in question may be associated with felony vandalism that occurred at the Santa Clara Police Activities League (PAL) BMX Track on the 5400 block of Lafayette Street in May 2022. An unknown suspect(s) cut electrical lines at the site.
