* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central South Dakota, northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Nation.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

* AFFECTED AREAS: OSCEOLA ... LINCOLN ... LYON ... MURRAY ... COTTONWOOD ... NOBLES ... JACKSON ... PIPESTONE ... ROCK ... BROOKINGS ... MOODY
