Wilmington Police have arrested a New Castle man on drug charges.

On June 15 at approximately 12:14 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 900 block of East 17^th Street when they observed 28-year-old Shabozz Waters-Jackson engaged in drug activity.  Police made contact with him and recovered 5.7 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Waters-Jackson was charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver (2 counts)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
