On Sunday, February 25, 2007, at 5:00 am, 71-year-old, Luis Sandoval, was shot near the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Hicks Avenue, in the city of East Los Angeles.
Investigators believe he was shot during a shoot-out between rival tagging crews. The victim succumbed to his injuries on June 13, 2007.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspects.
