West Street Reconstruction Project Update: 6/21/22 - No water service - 9am-1pm. Cherry St & 1 Center St 
This is an update for the ongoing West Street Reconstruction project:
On Tuesday, June 21, 2022 beginning at approximately 9 am and continuing until approximately 1 pm water service on Cherry Street between lots #31 - #41 and at #1 Center Street will be shut off to allow the new water main on West Street to be connected to the existing water mains on Cherry Street and at the intersection of West Street and Center Street. In addition, a new fire hydrant will be installed at the top of Cherry Street which is to be used for flushing the new connections.
Once water service is restored, water users may experience a brief change in water color and/or pressure. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm.
We apologize for any inconvenience, as work continues on this important construction project.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
