For the fifth consecutive year, the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce and Town are partners in the Hometown Heroes Banner Program that recognizes active duty and veteran service members. The opening ceremony is tomorrow at 11am at Tawasentha Park. Each banner honors a Guilderland, Altamont, Knox or Westerlo service member by name, branch of service, and photo. A family member, friend, business or organization sponsors a banner for a service member. You can read biographs about the Hometown Heroes honored over the past two years. Here is a link to the map where each banner will be placed by Highway crews in Tawasentha Park.
Thank you for staying safe and calm.
