BURN BAN FOR FT BEND COUNTY IS NOW IN EFFECT 
Judge KP George and Commissioners Vincent Morales and Andy Meyers voted unanimously today to enact a BURN BAN for Fort Bend County at the recommendation of the the Fire Marshal and the head of Fort Bend County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Mark Flathouse.
The county and the state are experiencing severe drought conditions, with no relief in sight.
As a reminder, NO FIREWORKS are allowed in the city of Simonton.
Please remember a burn ban means NO BURNING of ANY KIND.
