8900 block Santa Monica Blvd

06/06/2022 @ 0100. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from the victim’s front pocket while inside the club. #03547

 

Residential Burglary

8000 block Norton Avenue

06/06/2022 @ 2115. A man smashed the sliding glass balcony door to gain entry. The resident heard the glass break and found the suspect standing in her living room. The suspect fled the area on foot without taking anything. #03435

 

Vehicle Burglary

1000 block Stanley Avenue

06/06/2022 @ 1830-0230. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and ransacked the interior but did not take anything. #03444

06/06/2022 @ 2200-0300. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and ransacked the interior but did not take anything. #03454

06/06/2022 @ 1900-1945. An unknown suspect removed a laptop computer from the back seat and a duffle bag containing cosmetics, jewelry, and medication from the back seat. #03519

06/07/2022 @ 1200. An unknown suspect removed a refrigerator, washer, and dryer from the interior. #03494

06/07/2022 @ 0610. Two men gained access to the lobby of the secured apartment complex and pried open resident mail boxes and removed mail. #03457

8800 block Dorrington Avenue

06/07/2022 @ 1928. An unknown suspect removed the screen and opened an unlocked window to gain access and ransacked the interior. The suspect removed three jackets and two pairs of sunglasses from the interior. #03469

06/07/2022 @ 0045-0150. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a handgun and 9mm ammunition from the trunk. #03442

06/08/2022 @ 0120. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from the victim’s purse while inside the club. #03479

06/08/2022 @ 0426. A man and a woman gained entry to the lobby of the secured apartment complex and removed mail from resident mailboxes. #03536

 

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)

1000 block Genesee Avenue

06/08/2022 @ 2026. A man used an unlocked rear door to gain entry. The resident came home and found the suspect asleep in her bed. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #03497

06/08/2022 @ 0942. A man parked his vehicle on the street and was followed into his apartment building by two men armed with handguns. The suspect’s demanded the victim’s watch and he complied. #03485

Aggravated Assault - Hand, Fist, Feet (Suspect Arrested)

600 block N San Vicente Blvd

06/09/2022 @ 0220. A man hit the victim several times on his face and body with a metal pipe for unknown reasons while in the park. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #03504

06/09/2022 @ 2230-0530. An unknown suspect pried the rear door open to gain access and removed three tablet computers, $300 cash, and a jacket from the interior. #03535

1200 block Crescent Heights Blvd

06/09/2022 @ 2300-0530. An unknown suspect used an unlocked patio door to gain entry and removed a backpack containing a wallet, key fob, laptop computer, headphones, and charging cords from the dining room. #03533

 

June 10th

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (2 victims)

Olive Drive / Santa Monica Blvd

06/10/2022 @ 0345. Two men were lying on the sidewalk when a vehicle occupied by four men came to a stop near their location. The suspects fired two steel ball bearings from an unknown device in the direction of the victims and then drove away. One of the victims was hit but not injured. #03531

8500 block Sherwood Drive

06/10/2022 @ 1800. A woman was removing items from thetrunk of her vehicle when a man approached her while armed with a knife. The victim ran to a nearby business and was followed by the suspect. An employee of the business intervened and the suspect fled the area on a skateboard. #03551

06/10/2022 @ 2310-0055. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed a duffel bag containing a laptop computer, IPhone, and Airpods from the trunk. #03564

Armed Robbery (Estes) (Suspect Arrested)

600 block N San Vicente Blvd

06/11/2022 @ 2215. A man removed several sets of keys from the valet parking stand and began to walk away. An employee confronted the suspect and demanded the keys be returned and he refused and hit the victim on his abdomen with a large bamboo stick and fled the area on foot. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies and the vehicle keys were recovered. #03593

06/11/2022 @ 2120-2220. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer and gold necklace from the backseat. #03592

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)

9000 block Sunset Blvd

06/12/2022 @ 1715. A man pulled a knife and stepped towards a security guard during an argument that took place on the sidewalk. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #03621
