Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is passing through Emeryville at 3pm, expect minor traffic delays along the route
Special Olympics Northern California is celebrating 25 years of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Emeryville Police Department has been a proud participant in the Torch Run for Special Olympics. Today at 3:00 PM the Emeryville Police Department will receive the “Flame of Hope” from the UC Berkeley Police Department at 7th St and Folger St and carry the torch to Emeryville’s City Hall where we pass the torch off to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
As the Flame of Hope passes through Emeryville, please expect minor delays along the route:
- Southbound Hollis St from Folger
- Hollis St to westbound 65th St
- Southbound Shellmound St to Bay Street
- Southbound Bay Street to the South Bayfront Pedestrian Bridge
- Northbound Horton St to eastbound 53rd St
- Southbound Hollis St to Park Ave
