Deputies Work on Crime Suppression Detail to Improve the Quality of Life for Residents

INCIDENT: Warrant Service and Proactive Enforcement Detail
LOCATION: City of Loma Linda
SUMMARY: On Saturday, June 18, 2022, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Central Station, conducted arrest warrant services and proactive patrol in the city of Loma Linda. The special detail was funded by County-Wide Crime Suppression funds. The enforcement detail resulted in the following:
- 15 arrest warrants served
- 21 traffic stops conducted
- 14 traffic citations issued
- 3 warrant arrests
- 5 traffic related arrests; including two DUI arrests
- Various vehicle and subject checks conducted for California vehicle and penal code violations
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors authorized funds to assist with County-Wide Crime Suppression. The County-Wide Crime Suppression monies show the ongoing collaborative partnership between the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The program provides additional funding to the Sheriff's Department to provide law enforcement services related to quality of life issues that affect the residents in the County. The intent of the program is to reduce crime, increase safety, and improve the quality of life for the residents of San Bernardino County.
