On Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 1:32pm, Amarillo Police were dispatched on a 911 call to a home in the 700 block of S Jefferson. When officers arrived, they found a male juvenile deceased from a gunshot wound. The circumstances of this shooting are still being determined. Several witnesses are being interviewed by detectives. This is an active investigation and the Homicide unit and Amarillo Police patrol officers are still on scene.
