Watervliet High School Commencement Ceremonies (Fri, 6/24) 
On Friday, June 24,2022 the Watervliet City School District (WCSD) will be hosting their high school graduation ceremonies beginning at 6pm. Heavy traffic in the areas surrounding Watervliet High School are expected during this event.
In order to maintain the free flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, the Watervliet Police Department are announcing local parking and road restrictions in the immediate area of the high school for Friday.
These restrictions are:
- Wiswall Ave. will be restricted to local resident traffic only beginning at 4:30pm.
- 12th Ave. south of Hillside Drive will be restricted to local resident traffic only beginning at 4:30pm.
- "No Parking" zone on the east side of Hillside Ave during this event
- "No Parking" zone on 12th Ave from 19th Street to Wiswall Ave during this event
Limited parking is be available in the WHS parking lot. Once the WHS lot is full, guests will be asked to park in the Watervliet Elementary School parking lot. Shuttles are being provided to transport guests from WES to the High School. Please allow extra time for this.
