TRAINING EXERCISE: Disaster Training Exercise on Sunday, June 26 
TRAINING EXERCISE: Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) are conducting a full-scale disaster training exercise involving a collision between a train and a vehicle. The exercise will be held from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 at the intersection of the railroad tracks and Handley-Ederville Road, just South of State Highway 121. Roads will be closed in the area. Find an alternate route if traveling near the exercise site.
The City is partnering with both DART and TRE to participate in this exercise and use the opportunity to exercise our Emergency Operations Center. Fire Departments from across Northeast Tarrant County will also be participating. This exercise will allow all participating agencies to test their disaster-related response plans and identify challenge areas where additional resources or training may be necessary.
