* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Illinois, including the following counties, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, White and Williamson.
* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 716 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations have seen as much as 2 inches of rainfall overnight. More rain will thunderstorms will continue through mid morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion, Herrin, Harrisburg, West Frankfort, Benton, Carterville, Carmi, Eldorado, Johnston City, Mcleansboro, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Zeigler, Grayville, Norris City, Crainville, Cambria, Royalton and Energy. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
