INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(1) - Assault with Deadly Weapon (Knife)
LOCATION: 2300 Block of Needles Hwy, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Terry Scroggins, 63-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY: On Sunday, June 26, 2022, at about 11:17 a.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River / Needles Station responded to a report of an assault near the 2300 block of Needles Hwy. Through investigation, deputies determined Scroggins intentionally swung a knife at the victim in a manner consistent with deadly force.
Scroggins was arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station jail. Scroggins remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
