Man Arrested for Petty Theft also Booked for Bringing Drugs into a Jail Facility

LOCATION: 2100 Block Needles Hwy, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Leroy Fass, 32yrs, Needles, CA
SUMMARY: On June 27, 2022, deputies from the Colorado River Station responded to a report of a petty theft at a business in the 2100 Block of Needles Hwy. During the investigation, Leroy Fass was located in the area and detained. He was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was arrested.
Fass was transported to the Needles Jail for booking where he was found to be in possession of an additional amount of suspected methamphetamine. Fass was later released on his own recognizance with a future court date.
