The 4th of July celebration for the Township of Ocean will be held on Friday, July 1st. The fairgrounds at Palaia Park will open at 6:00 pm and the bands will begin playing at 6:30 pm.  Several food vendors will be on site as well as a face painter and a balloon artist for the kids.  The fireworks display will start at 9:30 pm.  Please allow extra time to travel in and around the park due to the increased traffic during the event.  Pedestrians are reminded to use the crosswalks and vehicular traffic is required to yield to anyone within the marked crosswalks.  Let's all celebrate safely and enjoy the holiday weekend!!
