Community First Partnership

Dear Resident,

We have some good news to share with you! Our local Mass Save® sponsor, Eversource, has announced that the city of West Springfield has been chosen to participate in the Community First Partnership.

As a part of the partnership, West Springfield will be joining forces with the local nonprofit ener-G-save, which has been helping our region save energy for more than five years. This year, our goal in West Springfield is to insulate 105 homes and support 95 households to upgrade to efficient heating and cooling systems.

This means that more neighbors like you have the opportunity to save money on heating and cooling your home – starting with a no-cost Mass Save Home Energy Assessment.

Sign up now: 781-305-3319 or at HWE.Works/EGS (code: Cooler)

What’s a no-cost Home Energy Assessment?

A Home Energy Specialist will identify the best opportunities in your home to save on energy. You will receive a custom home energy report and you’ll learn how to access the Mass Save rebates and incentives.

You could be eligible for benefits such as:

  • No-cost air sealing improvements

  • 75%-100% off approved insulation upgrades

  • Up to $15,000 in heat pump rebates

  • 0% financing (up to $25,000 for 7 years) for energy efficiency upgrades including heat pumps

  • No-cost items like programmable thermostats, water-saving devices, and advanced power strips

Ener-G-save is partnering with HomeWorks Energy, a Mass Save partner, to provide energy assessments to Springfield residents.

To schedule a no-cost Home Energy Assessment call HomeWorks Energy at 781-305-3319 or go to HWE.Works/EGS to schedule online. Use referral code: Cooler.

Join us to save energy and money and make your home more comfortable. Together we can further our community’s commitment to equity and sustainability.

Sincerely,

Mayor Will Reichelt
