3:00 AM: Officer Riddles conducted a security check in the 35000 block of Newark Boulevard when she discovered a cold burglary. No loss at this time.

1:38 AM: Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of Sycamore St near the railroad tracks. Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 56-year-old male out of Newark for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
5:05 AM: Officers responded to an alarm activation in the 39000 block of Cedar Boulevard. Upon arrival, Officers discovered the front door shattered and the business had been burglarized. Investigation is still ongoing at this time.
6:09 AM: Officer Frentescu investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 35000 block of Newark Boulevard. Loss was $2300.

8:23 AM: Officers responded a report of suspicious activity described as a subject looking into car windows in the 36000 block of Ash St. Upon arrival, Officer McCuin made contact and arrested a 52-year-old male out of Newark for an active warrant. He was cited and released.
2:04 PM: Officers responded to a report of a collision in the 5000 block of Chapman Drive. Upon arrival, officers made contact and arrested a 45-year-old make out of Newark for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

5:57 AM: Officer Rivera investigated an attempted burglary and theft of a vehicle in the 5000 block of Mowry Avenue. No loss at this time.
7:12 AM: Officer Arroyo investigated a cold burglary in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. Loss was cash and a cash register. Investigation is still ongoing.
8:13 AM: Officer Rivera investigated an overnight theft of a vehicle in the 35000 block of Bettencourt Street.
1:35 PM: Officer Arroyo investigated a burglary in the 6000 block of Clark Avenue. Loss is unknown at this time.
2:17 PM: Officer Sanchez investigated an overnight burglary to a vehicle in the 36000 block of Cherry Street. No loss at this time.
4:27 PM: Officer Arroyo investigated an overnight burglary to a vehicle in the 6000 block of Joaquin Avenue. Loss was a car cover and cash.
8:02 PM: Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 32-year old female in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave for an outstanding warrant. She was cited and released.
10:47 PM: Officers responded to an in-progress burglary in the 7000 block of Thornton Avenue. The subject fled prior to officer arrival. Loss was a cash register and $100.
11:36 PM: Officer Garcia made contact and arrested a 48-year-old male out of Newark in the 5000 block of Central Ave for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.

1:15 AM: Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 23-year-old male out of Newark in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:28 AM: Officers investigated multiple burglaries in the 6000 block of Jarvis Avenue. Loss was a cash register.
12:19 PM: Officers responded to a report of a battery in the 37000 block of Locust Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact and arrested a 32-year-old male out of Newark. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
4:04 PM: Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity described as a subject looking into vehicles in the area of Spruce Street and Thornton Ave. Officers attempted to make contact but the subject did not comply with officer commands. A 27-year old male was ultimately arrested for obstructing a peace officer and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:16 PM: Officer Losier made contact and arrested a 22-year-old male out of Newark in the 36000 block of Port Sailwood Dr for possession of drug paraphernalia and giving false identification to a police officer. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

7:12 AM: Officer Arroyo was conducting a security check in the 5000 block of Jarvis Avenue. Officers observed a subject in a vehicle slumped over. Officer Arroyo made contact and arrested a 28-year-old male for possession of controlled substances. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:36 AM: Sergeant Mapes investigated an overnight burglary to a vehicle in the 5000 block of Wintergreen Drive. Loss is $400.
11:19 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated theft of a catalytic converter that occurred overnight in the 39000 block of Balentine Drive.
12:37 PM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated an attempted theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 7000 block of Braidburn Avenue.
1:21 PM: Officer Adami and Officer Taylor investigated a theft of multiple vehicles in the 37000 block of Starflower Street.

1:43 PM: Officer Rivas responded to the 37000 block of Newark Boulevard for a report of a robbery. Loss was a cell phone. Investigation is ongoing.
2:41 PM: Officer Losier responded to the 6000 block of NewPark Mall Road for a report of a found firearm. Officer Losier seized the firearm and booked it into evidence.
10:41 PM: Officer Riddles was conducting a security check in the 5000 block of Cedar Court. Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 37-year-old male out of Half Moon Bay for possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant. He was issued a citation and released.

1:10 PM: Officers responded to the area of Cedar Boulevard and Thornton Avenue on a report of a possible DUI driver. Officers made contact and arrested a 30-year-old male out of Newark. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
10:07 PM: Officer Sanchez investigated a collision in the 5000 block of Civic Terrace Ave. Officer Sanchez made contact and arrested a 25-year-old female out of Newark for DUI. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:22 PM: Officers responded to an attempted robbery in the 34000 block of Newark Boulevard. The subject fled prior to officer arrival. There was no loss.
3:25 PM: Officers investigated a theft in the 35000 block of Newark Boulevard. Officers accepted a Citizen’s Arrest of a 41-year old male subject. While in custody, the subject spit on the officer’s face and made several threats of violence to the officer. The subject was ultimately arrested for petty theft, battery on a peace officer, and obstructing an officer by threat or violence. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:28 AM: Officer Swadener responded to investigate a report of a located stolen vehicle in the area of Timber St and Central Ave. Upon arrival, officers set up a containment plan for a high-risk stop. The subject fled before officers could attempt contact. A pursuit was not initiated. The vehicle was later recovered in Fremont.
7:27 AM: Officer Adami and Officer Taylor investigated a theft of a bike in the 5000 block of Jonathan Place.
10:53 AM: Officer Adami and Officer Taylor investigated a cold burglary in the 6000 block of Baine Avenue. Loss is unknown at this time.
3:33 PM: Officer Adami and Officer Taylor initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Balentine Drive. Officers made contact and arrested a 45-year-old male out of Milpitas for possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. He was cited and released.
3:51 PM: Sergeant Heckman made contact and arrested a 25-year-old female and a 49-year-old male for outstanding warrants. Both subjects were booked at Santa Rita Jail.
9:52 PM: Officer Herrera attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Sycamore St and Clark Ave. The vehicle fled and almost struck another officer in the area. A pursuit was initiated as officers believed the driver was dangerously DUI. The pursuit was terminated due to heavy traffic. Officers are still investigating the incident.
11:24 PM: Officer Kapu made contact and arrested a 44-year old male out of Fremont in the 39000 block of Balentine Drive for possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.

1:10 AM: Officer Kapu made contact and arrested a 37-year old male out of Newark for trespassing. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
5:14 AM: Officers investigated multiple burglaries in the area of Thornton Avenue. No loss reported at this time.
9:23 AM: Officer Arroyo investigated an overnight burglary to a vehicle in the 6000 block of Dairy Avenue.

1:19PM: Officer Frentescu investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 68000 block of Overlake Place. Loss was personal items.
4:57 PM: Officer Frentescu and Officer Arroyo responded to a report of a battery in-progress in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd. The subject had fled prior to officer arrival.
8:14 PM: Officer Cervantes investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 6000 block of Joaquin Murieta Avenue.
9:44 PM: Officer Cervantes investigated a theft of a license plate in the 6000 block of Buena Vista Drive.
