The Amarillo Police Department is currently searching for James Gilmer, 82-year-old white male. He was last seen around 10:00 PM on Wednesday June 29th. James was wearing a multi-colored plaid button down shirt with blue jeans. He is described as being 5’11” tall and weighing 220 lbs. He is bald and has blue eyes. James left his residence in a 2012 white Chevrolet Equinox with Texas license plate KSV-5711. He has been diagnosed with Dementia.
