Traffic Alert: There are a number of events this weekend that may cause an increase in traffic. 
This weekend (July 1-3) there will be a number of events in town that may cause a significant increase in traffic.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday is the first weekend of the 626 Marketplace being held at the Santa Anita Race Track (285 W Huntington Dr., Arcadia). This even traditionally attracks large crowds and creates an increase in vehicular traffic.
On Saturday, the annual Patriotic Festival will be held on First Ave. between Huntington Dr. and Diamond St. First Ave. will be closed in this area. This event will be held between 5PM and 9:30PM. There will be a live fireworks show at approximately 9PM.
Also on Saturday, there will be a Pasadena Pops Concert at the Los Angeles County Arboretum (301 N. Baldwin Ave, Arcadia).
We encourage you to plan ahead if you must travel in these areas, leave early, or avoid the area if possible.
Just as a friendly reminder, ALL fireworks are illegal in Arcadia. Please celebrate Independence Day safely and responsibly.
