* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Bolivar Peninsula, Brazoria Islands, Chambers, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Harris, Coastal Matagorda, Galveston Island, Matagorda Islands and Southern Liberty.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The heaviest rain from a slug of tropical moisture has moved east of the area, largely ending the threat of excessive rain.
