Monday July 4, Independence Day Celebration: Expect delays, parking restrictions 
On Monday July 4 there will be planned road closures, and detours due to the many scheduled events throughout the day. There will be traffic delays during the 5K Race, the parade, as well as the evening fireworks show. Main Street will close at 09:30 for the parade.
Certain streets will have no street parking rules in effect from 6am until after the fireworks display is over. No vehicles will be allowed to park on Violet Terrace, both sides, from 7am and until after the fireworks display (approximately 11pm). Parking restrictions will be placed on various sections of Bruce Court with signs placed accordingly.
Fireworks:
It is important to remember that many fireworks remain illegal such as all “aerial” and “explosive” fireworks. Our officers along with other agencies will be strictly enforcing these laws.
